Claiming Desmos Airdrop w/ Keplr

There was a lot of confusion yesterday claiming the airdrop for Desmos. I was able to claim mine using the Keplr https://go-find.me/me method.

  1. Go to https://go-find.me/me in a web browser where you have Keplr installed

2. Click on the Use Keplr icon. Create a dtag on the next page. Will be your Desmos account name.

3. You will have to either add a wallet nickname or description and save it. This will require already having a little bit of DSM. Like 0.01 DSM should be enough. If you don’t have any the community has been helping out in the discord and I can also send you a little to get started

4. You will need to next connect blockchains. You have to connect each network that qualifies for the airdrop. I got mixed up with this on my main Keplr account that qualified for Osmo, Juno and Regen. You select the Connect a blockchain button and click on one of the chains. Then choose Keplr and hit Connect.

5. Approve the transaction. And then approve the second transaction. that will pop up.

6. On the go-find.me page you will then see a box that says confirm transaction. Click on that and this is where you will need to have some DSM as it’s an on chain TX.

8. Now you can claim the airdrop. Under the wallet module on the go-find.me page click on Airdrop.

9. Click on Claim and it will add whatever airdrop you qualify for to your Desmos wallet.

I have a few different wallets. My main Keplr where I have my Osmo, Juno and Regen and then seperate wallets I created on Cosmostation where I have my Akash and Atom that qualified for the airdrop. NOTE: Be 100 percent positive you are adding an account to Keplr with the seed phrase. Double and triple check.

I looked at my seed phrase on the Cosmostation mobile app and added those in Keplr. This part is kinda annoying to do for multiple wallets but that would be the case with any airdrop.

One other thing I found with this was sometimes it wouldn’t even pop up a transaction window in Keplr and say some sort of error message. I hit f5 to refresh the page whenever this happened.
